Training program

The department trains mining engineers in directions:

• Code of specialty: “21.05.04 - Mining” (7.05030101).


• Education level: Specialist.


• Specialization: Underground mining.


• Qualifications: Mining engineer.


• Duration of training: 5,5 years.

Students after graduation receive a mining's engineer diploma and of abilities to perform business functions in the mining industry.

Can work for the following industries:

• mining engineers, engineers fixing, engineers rescue service;


• chief engineer, heads of mining companies and associations;


• mine foreman, master mine drainage; masters on the surface;


• overman underground section;


• overman site remediation;


• engineers of blasting (explosive) work.

Also, you can continue education in graduate school with a degree in the specialty of Technical Sciences 25.00.22 – “Geotechnical engineering”.
