Teaching equipment

The total area of the department is 1410 square meters.

The department has 14 classrooms, including 4 lecture halls, training and 4 research laboratories, two computer labs equipped with modern computer technology.

The department due attention paid to computer technology. So at the present time the department has a computer lab, equipped with the assistance of Siemens company.

There is a cabinet course and diploma projects with the actual literature. At the disposal of students about 20 models of technological schemes of coal extraction and educational stands.

Laboratory of physical properties of rocks. The research in this laboratory allow laboratory methods to establish the quality parameters of rocks, their acoustic and thermal properties. For the latter, designed a unique laboratory equipment.

 

In the laboratory, the mechanical properties of rocks, students and researchers have the opportunity to set the parameters of rock strength, their abrasiveness, contact strength, the strength of the scale of prof. Protodyakonov, Crushable, as well as the mechanical properties of broken rocks.
